reality is a grievance

i carry

a huge rock

sitting on top of me

i feel crushed

and trapped

for i am atlas

and it is the heavens

i feel it crack

my back

and leave a stain

on my brain

i try to grip it

but it continues

to

slip

and

weigh

some days

i wish for it

to simply

crush me

for it's easier to

lay broken

than to

hold on
